Military Aircraft---->Aircraft Technology---->Air data Instruments S Static Ports: A static ports is one (or multiple) small port(s) to measure the static pressure. The ports (on each side) are located near the nose of the aircraft. The static ports are connected by tubes to an aircraft Air Data Computer. With the static pressure the altitude can be measured.
