Development 2015 On 28 October 2015, it became public that the pentagon awarded Northrop Grumman a 80 billion dollar contract as the prime contractor. The other competitor was a joint venture of Boeing and Lockheed Martin. The current contract award contains a Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase and the delivery of 21 bombers for a fixed price of 21.4 billion dollars. |
