MK 84

The MK 84 is a 2000 pounds unguided free fall bomb which belongs to the MK 80 series general purpose bombs. MK 84 bombs are used by armed forces like the Royal Netherlands Air Force. The MK-84 bombs can be ballistically selected by use of targeting equipment on an enemy ground target. After being dropped, they can not be re-programmed to another location. The Mk84 can be mounted on only 1 pylon on a fighter aircraft.
 

The MK 84 bombs can be used by the: A-10, B-1B, B-52H, F-4G, F-15E, F-16A-D, F-111 and the F-117 Nighthawk.
