/ A-5 The Q-5 is a supersonic attack aircraft developed by the Chinese company Nanchang Aircraft and is in service with the Chinese armed forces. The Q-5 is a derived version of the J-6 fighter jet. |

can be used for close-air-support on low altitude to super low altitude.
It has a maximum speed of 1210 km/h (without armament), a ceiling of 16000
meters and 2 engines with afterburner. Besides the development started in 1958, the first serial production started around 1970 due to a lot of problems. The export version, designated as A-5 Fatan is in service with North-Korea, Bangladesh and Pakistan. A-5C Fatan |
