M-113 C&V

The M-113 C&V command and combat armored vehicle was developed by FMC corporation in 1963. The M-113 is/was in use by a lot of countries like The Netherlands and the United States.
the Netherlands
The first of 250 M-113 came in service with the Royal Netherlands Army in 1966. It was used by the cavalry for reconnaissance and surveillance purposes. In the second part of the 70th years the origin vehicle weapon - a 12.7 mm-machine gun - was replaced by a armour-plated cupola with a 25-mm Oerlikon-quickfire canon.
In 1994 the M-113 C&V was replaced by the YPR-765. The YPR-765 will be replaced by the CV-9035 and the Boxer. For reconnaissance the new fennek will be used.

United States
The M-113 is still in use by the US Army and has recently been used in Iraq.
